Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Her beautiful beauty and successes in the field of film reflect her talents as a performer. In the 70s the model began her career. She quickly became one of the leading actors in the industry. She studied acting and theatre in the early part of the decade before appearing on stages in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo's first film role was ABCs 1988 drama Sable In the show, she was Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later in Major League, her debut movie. Critics were initially skeptical of her acting skills However, her consistently good performance enthused them. They were most impressed with her when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her own against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own admissions, she wasn't a fan of the acting. In 2005, she took a long self-imposed break. The reason she returned was her role in Thor. Also, she appeared in Nightcrawler which her husband was awarded an Oscar for. The Intern was her first funny and lighthearted film. She went on to make appearances in Just Getting Started and other comedy films.
Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success within the UFC. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to joining Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success in and outside the octagon, Namajunas has been a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. While growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. Rose made her debut as a professional aged 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships, where she was able to win two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 aged 22, she signed for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Through Rose's professional career, she's gone through periods of both the highs and lows with each time coming out on top. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted just three minutes of the round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time that a woman had ever competed in a tournament with a major promoter across the globe. Namajunas then went on to win a few other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, earning her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
